terra_futuraThe sixth edition of Terra Futura - the international exhibition for the environmental, economic and social sustainability best practices - takes place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy, from Friday 29 to Sunday May 31.

The exhibition will present products and projects that have been created during these years in Italy and around the world, that embody experiences of an ethical and sustainable economy.

Promoted and organized by several Italian Institutions and associations, including the Cultural Foundation for Ethical Responsibility of the Ethical Bank (Banca Etica, Etica SGR, the magazine "Valori"), Regione Toscana and Adescoop-sc of Social Economy Agency, Terra Futura aims at promoting and enhancing a real economy - and not a "paper" one - that all what is needed to be an alternative, the path along which the change required by the system in crisis at local and global levels can happen.

This edition will display more than 600 areas, where the main players will be associations and non-profit organizations, local authorities and institutions, companies with their projects and concrete examples of a different lifestyle. Thirteen sections are planned: "Natural Living" (sustainable building), "Global Action" (interculture, peace, human rights, voluntary and ethical finance), "Organic food & Things" (organic farming, biodynamic, organic products and natural textiles), "Communicating Sustainability" (media, publishing and communication), "Eco-idea mobility (mobility), "EquoCommercio" (fair trade), "Education routes for sustainability" (education, guidance, training and research), "The land of the small"( projects, products and services for children and parents), "NuovEnergie" (renewable energy, energy saving and eco-efficiency), "Networks of good governance" (institutional and association networks), "Health + Wellness" (prevention and non-conventional medicine), "Eco & Responsible Tourism" (sustainable travel and vacations) and "TutelAmbiente" (Protection of the environment and biodiversity, recycling and reuse).
